The majority of Illinois citizens want a publicly financed, privately
delivered, not-for-profit system that guarantees comprehensive health care
for all. They want much needed relief for the 1.5 million people in Illinois
without access to healthcare, the millions more who are under-insured, and
the state's business and labor communities. Fortunately, a solution is
emerging in our Illinois state legislature. *The Health Care for All
Illinois Act (H.B. 311), establishes an enhanced Medicare for All for all
residents of Illinois. H.B. 311* restores health-care decisions to doctors
and patients.
