What: "The Moses Code": A Friday Matinee
(Pre-screening of movie: Not yet released to the public)

How Much: $5 for the movie and popcorn!
(Proceeds AAUW: Palmer Chapter)

When: Friday, April 4th from 4-6 PM
(Movie will start at about 4:15 after opening remarks)

Where: Palmer CollegeTheater
(West Hall; room 210)

Parking on Main Street, between 8th and 10th and in Central High School Lot,
across the street, and climb the long stairs to West Hall*

*Handicapped accessible parking on Palmer Drive (10th street; between Main
and Brady). Call 884-5555 if you need assistance from Palmer Security, to
find room, park, etc.

Accessible Entrance: Enter building Through library building doors and
proceed straight down the long hall to elevators (on your right past the
stairs) Go to 2nd floor. Room is at end of hall after taking a left out of
elevator.

Movie Description: The Moses Code, by the same film-maker as "The Secret"
focuses on how we can participate in creating a more peaceful world by first
realizing peace within ourselves. This film offers tools to maintain
peaceful interactions with those we meet while maintaining peace in
ourselves. This is not a religious film, however, it discusses examples of
great peacemakers and leaders in religious and world history.

Follow Up Peace Event - Putting Peace Into Action:
The film event will be followed on Sunday, April 6th by a "Peace in the
Park" session. We will practice principles taught in the film, to send peace
into the universe from a beautiful place. This is happening at over 200
sites around the country at the same time on Sunday April 6th.

When and Where: Meet at 10:45-11:15 a.m. Sunday, April 6th
Vanderveer  Park Rose Garden; Davenport, Iowa. (of course, this peace
gathering is free and open to everyone whether you made it to the movie or
not!)
