*WHO:           *Rep. Bruce Braley (D-Iowa) and Rep. Steny Hoyer

*WHAT:         *Rep. Bruce Braley and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will
tour Eastern Iowa Community College's Blong Center and hold a media
availability on Friday.  Braley and Hoyer will be discussing the workforce
education needs of the renewable energy industry.

In February, Rep. Braley introduced the New Era Act to create a grant
program for community colleges to create and expand renewable energy
workforce education programs.  The measure was included in the Farm Bill,
which passed the House in July.
