[Pacg] PACG Peace Forum meeting is at 6:45 at the Metro Comm Church TUES

*PACG Peace Forum* meeting is at 6:45 at the *Metro Comm Church..30th and
Harrison Tuesday*...important planning mtg to finalize plans for next
week.....current activities planned..we need everyone's help and
participation.
*ACT for Peace Weekend:  Sept 21-23*

*Friday: Noon to 6 PM at Senator Grassley's office* (2nd and Main)
encouraging him to end the war, bring the troops home and take care of them
when they return.

We will show a public presence for peace. People will pray, sing, read the
names of the dead, hourly speakers, visits to the Senators office.



*Friday: Noon to 8PM*

Peace vigil at St. James Lutheran in Rock Island.



*Saturday: 9am to Noon - **Educational Forums* on 'Insurgencies in Iraq ',
'PTSD' and 'Practicing Peace In This Time of War, Exploring the Skill of
Mindfulness" at the Figge Museum Auditorium.

12:30 PM…Silent Peace Walk  12:30 PM   LeClaire Park, Davenport

1:30- 5 PM Movie showings on Iraq war at the Figge Museum Auditorium



Ask your ministers to speak about peace that weekend.

*Need to finalize plans for workshops, get more yard signs out to people and
get people to be at Grassley's office sometime between noon and 6
on Friday... please come and help out.    *
