[Pacg] PACG Christmas Party December 8th! Mark your calendars!

Friends,

It's hard to believe another year has come and gone. I was thinking back to
last year's Christmas party... it was post 2006 election and we had a lot to
celebrate! Over 100 people attended... we enjoyed an array of wonderful
food, a little vino, and a lot of great conversation! We even had a birthday
cake for Jim Hughes who turned 70 last year, and we gave out lots of door
prizes... it was so much fun! Progressives really know how to party! ;-)

*Well, it's that time again! This year we will be having our annual Christmas
party on Saturday, December 8th, from 6pm to 9pm at the Davenport Unitarian
Church, 3707 Eastern Ave, downstairs in the Social Hall. *

This will be a *potluck event *so please bring something delectable to
share. You may bring beer or wine if you like. We will continue the raffle
we started at the recent Spiritual Progressives Conference earlier this
month... there will be lots of good stuff to give away. If you have
something you would like to donate for our raffle (books, gift certificates,
movie tickets, CDs, candles, bric-a-brac, etc), we would appreciate your
contribution! Proceeds from the raffle go to support the work of PACG.

This is a time for all of us to come together and simply rejoice in each
other!

Please let us know if you plan on attending and what food item you will be
bringing. We also need volunteers to help decorate the Friday before so let
me know if you are willing to help. *563-676-7580*
