We would like to invite everyone to attend the Geiger Lecture, tomorrow,
November 13 at 7 pm in the Rogalski Center Ballroom at Saint Ambrose
Universtiy. The Geiger Lecture was created by the students and friends of
former history professor Richard Geiger upon his retirement.
This year's address will be offered by Dr. Olivia Constable, from University
of Notre Dame. Her lecture entitled, "Ringing Church Bells in Muslim Tunis:
Religious Concessions to Christian Communities in Muslim North Africa" will
focus on Muslim and Christian relations in medieval North Africa, in one of
Islam's great cities. A reception will immediately follow Dr. Constable's
address.
You can find out more about the lecture at

ManningKeriL at sau.edu or extension 6106.
Many thanks,
Dr. Keri Manning
Assistant Professor of History
