>From Lisa Killinger, lisa.killinger at palmer.edu:

The week of January 22nd has been designated as International Week at
Augustana College. You are cordially invited to join us.
Below are two events that are open to the public.

THURSDAY - 1/25
8:00 pm - Our Neighbors' Eyes: The Stories in Which We Find Ourselves ---
Global Engagement as Learning for Life and a Foundation for Life-Long
Learning - Dr. Paul Robinson, Director of the Human Needs and Global
Resources Program at Wheaton College.
Dr. Robinson writes: I was born in the "Belgian" Congo. For more than five
decades, my life experiences have been largely centered in Africa, and
in much of what we call the "Global South," where I have had the
privilege of learning from other cultures. For almost three decades, I have
also had the privilege of sharing that learning with students through
cross-cultural learning and service educational programs. What have we
learned?
