St. Ambrose Cultural Diversity Festival
Sponsored by BeeGlobal
Noon–6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 17
Rogalski Center

Program Highlights
Festival Sponsors
An afternoon of cultural diversity fun for families and people of all ages will include musical and dance performances, food from around the world, and children’s activities, crafts and games.
The festival will take place throughout the Rogalski Center. A main stage area will allow people to relax and enjoy musical and dance performances. In the children’s area, children will receive a passport to be stamped as they “visit” various countries by playing games, practicing with chop sticks and creating make-and-take crafts such as Native American bracelets, Japanese origami art, African drums and Russian nesting dolls.

“The festival will be an exciting and fun afternoon out for people, especially at this time of year when we’re all beginning to feel a little cabin fever,” says BeeGlobal President Hagit Biton, an MBA student from Israel. “We’ll have performances and food for people who just want to sit and relax, all the way to lessons for those who want to learn how to belly dance or do the salsa. This is a wonderful celebration of diversity and culture.”

Beeglobal’s purpose is to promote diversity and unity by encouraging interaction between persons of all cultures on campus, educating the campus community about various cultures and reaching out to the larger community.
For more information, contact Hagit at 563/650-3575.
