Hello to Everyone-
QCAIR has  a really important meeting scheduled for this Tuesday 6:30 - 8:
00p.m..  We will be meeting in East Moline, at:

First Christian Church
3201 7th str
East Moline
Enter on lower level, north door

We are meeting in East Moline for the first time and hope the residents in
the surrounding neighborhoods feel welcome to join us.  Please pass along to
others you know that we are an open, welcoming group.  In particular we hope
students from East Moline Township High School, their families and Latino
Unidos groups will attend.

We will be talking about the upcoming Immigration Forum meeting scheduled
for Saturday February 24th.  QCAIR will be talking about what roles we can
fulfill at the forum.  We have reached a point in organizational life of
QCAIR that we need to begin discussing setting up a governance structure ---
it is important that all of the organizations that awere represented in any
meetings over the past 9 months at QCAIR have a say in these discusions.
Your dedication to human rights and making the Quad Cities a better place to
live is inspiring, in the midst of our busy schedules.  I am pleading that
you please make every effort to attend this week-- your voice is very
important to us.
