We need more than non-binding resolutions and the appearance that the
Congress is serious about ending the war in Iraq and on the short term,
blocking the expansion of the war.

*Our Republican Senators are holding up even debating this most critical
issue in the U.S. Senate.* They are blocking any discussion on Iraq to
avoid a floor vote on escalation. We need to remind all of our
representatives that the mandate from the voters is clear.  This war needs
to be brought to a responsible end.

*This is no time for caution*....this is time for bold and energetic
leadership. We support those who have the courage to stand with us---they
need to know they have our support.   We also send a strong message to those
who are unwilling or afraid to take a courageous stand on this most
important issue of our time.....as more people lose their lives and limbs
every day.
