*CLIMATE CHANGE ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETING - STATE LEGISLATIVE ISSUES*

The Climate Change Advisory Council will hold their next meeting on *Monday,
December 17th in the Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose University in Davenport
starting at 9:00 AM.*  This is a critical opportunity for this community to
raise our voice and call for strong global warming solutions that reduce
carbon dioxide 80% below 1990 levels by the year 2050 and protect those
already struggling to pay higher energy costs.

legislative subcommittee on energy efficiency has endorsed an excellent
energy efficiency standard of 1.5% a year over the next ten years.  You can

renewable energy, and strong global warming pollution reduction targets as
we approach the start of the 2008 Legislative Session.
