[Pacg] IC to DC Bus Trip Sept 14 - 16th

Dear Friends,

Due to the generosity of Bradley Jo Charters, we have an extra week to find
riders and raise money so that the *I.C. to D.C. Bus Trip* can still happen.
 That means the deadline for receiving a payment for a seat on the bus is
now Thursday, September 6.

The fee is $100, and can be sent to Brian Shearer, 603 S. Dubuque St., #110,
Iowa City, IA 52240.  Please write ' D.C. Bus Trip' in the memo line of any
check or money order you send.

While this is good news, the bad news is that we are having trouble finding
people who have the money to pay the $100 to ride the bus.
Many of our potential riders can pay some of the fee but not all of it.  Not
only that, we are not getting enough sponsorship donations so that we can
help those who need it.  Therefore, I'm asking anyone who sees this e-mail,
and can afford to help us with a small donation, to seriously consider it.
 It would help greatly in aiding those who have the desire to go, but not
all of the requisite means to do so.

We really appreciate your consideration of this situation.  If you are
interested in going to D.C., or in making a sponsorship donation,
please get in touch with me as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, time is
short, but I will follow up promptly with anyone who contacts me.
