[Pacg] Meeting with Congressman Braley Tues & Wed, Peace Forum tonight

 Please join us..

We need to demonstrate to the Congressman that there is great support here
for ending this war.  If you cannot attend, please take a moment now to send
me an email addressed to Congressman Braley about your feelings about the
war and I will hand deliver them...thanks!

*We will be meeting with Congressman Braley tomorrow, Weds Am at 9:30 until
9:50* at his office across from City Hall.

*Obviously, this is not much time and we will be talking this evening at
5:30 at our Peace Forum meeting (Unitarian Church)  re how to make sure we
make our main points with the Congressman.   *

There is not much time, so* we will need to be succinct and very focused.*
We will only be dicussing the war at this gathering...the Congressman is
making other opportunities available for those who want to discuss other
issues...see schedule below.

We will be focusing on
1) Our thoughts on what the House of Representatives & Congress in general
should be doing to stand up to Bush administration on war.
2) Freshman House Reps and their approach to Democratic leadership
3) Update of what is happening in Congress surrounding the war.

*Public Meetings with Rep. Braley -* if you cannot come to 9:30 mtg. you
coudl discuss the war or any other issue at these meetings....
