The PACG Peace Forum will next meet on Tuesday, August 21st at 5:30pm -
Davenport Unitarian Church
3707 Eastern Ave
(in the board room)

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS - Farmers Market this Saturday:

The Peace forum will be selling our anti-war/pro-peace yard signs at the
Farmer's Market this Saturday. We need volunteers to help between 8:30am and
10:15am. Please contact Monica if you are available 563-271-9332 or call
Caroline at 563-676-7580.

The PACG office is overflowing with yard signs... please come by our office
and pick up a sign (only $3) at your convenience. If each of you were to
take 1 yard sign to display, collectively, we can have a BIG impact within
our community.

In other news...

For those of you who may not have read Monday's Des Moines Register, check
out this YouTube video..."Mamma's Peace Rap." Jan Hill, a soft-spoken, 55
yr-old social worker, and friends recorded this anthem in church and sent it
out into the world-wide-web.

The register also printed all of the lyrics... PACG Peace Forum members will
be rehearsing "Mama's Peace Rap"... stay tuned for more exciting details!
