[Pacg] PACG Community Meeting Special Event, Thurs, Apr 26, 6:30pm

We are pleased to announce a special event taking place during our April 26
Community meeting, this Thursday, 6:30pm at the Davenport Unitarian Church,
3707 Eastern Ave:

Phyllip Cryan, of ICAN, will present a workshop on progressive values and
the progressive worldview. ICAN has launched a long term initiative
throughout the state of Iowa that aims to:


   - Bring together progressive and liberal groups to explore common
   worldviews and values
   - Work together to determine the 2 or 3 core values that are most
   central to our varied progressive efforts.
   - Set about creating an echo-chamber in which we are all actively
   reinforcing those same core values in our campaigns, messaging, etc.


By doing this, ICAN hopes to lay down some building blocks for achieving
clarity in articulating our broad worldview as progressives, and to make
clear that we're all part of one large, values based movement.

PACG is a participant and supporter of the Common Values initiative. We
strongly encourage you to come out and participate!

This is a great workshop you won't want to miss!!
