We are pleased to announce the formation of the PACG Young Leaders Forum.
Our vision for this forum is to help empower young people (ages 15–27)
throughout the Quad Cities to find their voice on issues that are important
to them, and provide a path to their civic participation at all levels. We
believe that the formation of the Young Leaders forum will be a great tool
to introduce the youth of our community to progressive political activism.
This forum will also be sponsoring a Young leaders Conference /
Back-to-School Bash on September 29th where we hope to draw hundreds of
young people to stimulate their minds and activate their passion for change.
Our first Young Leaders roundtable discussion / brain-storming session will
be held on Thursday, April 12, 5:30 p.m. at St.
Ambrose University, Ambrose Hall Board Room, 3rd floor.
If you know of ANY young people, ages 15 to 27, who may be interested in
attending, please invite them to our 1st meeting tomorrow. PACG is springing
for dinner (pizza). Please refer to the flyer attached (both in Publisher
and JPEG formats).
